Dot NAME Domain Name Registrations

Set up in 2001, the Dot NAME universal domain name extension is the sole TLD planned for personal web pages only. These domains can consist of personal or fictitious names, aliases and/or other titles people are known by. At first, solely third-level registrations were permitted, so if you desired to order john.doe.name, you would have to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration procedures were liberalized and 2nd-level registrations were also permitted. Already registered 3rd-level domains remained working.

Through our firm, you can obtain your dot NAME domain for a time interval between one and ten years. You will be able to alter the WHOIS details, to park your domain, to edit Custom DNS records, etc. You can also transfer an already registered domain to our firm if you obtain its EPP transfer authorization key from the present registrar company and we will renew it after the transfer has been finalized. There are no special conditions on who can book a .NAME domain, but in order to maintain the goal behind its creation alive, the .NAME Registry organization may verify who the owner is and if there is no link between the owner and the actual domain, the registration might be challenged.
